The death has occurred in Letterkenny University Hospital of Seamus Coyle, Ardsbeg, Gortahork.
His remains will repose at his home on Sunday afternoon and on Monday.
Funeral from there on Tuesday 19th January going to Christ the King Church Gortahork for 11am requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Due to HSE and Government guidelines, wake funeral and interment are private to family only with a maximum of 10 people permitted.
