The death has taken place at University Hospital Galway of Paddy Doherty, Upper Dromore, Letterkenny.
His remains will repose at his late residence from 2pm on Thursday 18th January.
Funeral from there on Saturday 20th January at 12.15pm, going to the Church of the Irish Martyrs for 1pm Funeral Mass. Interment afterwards to Conwal Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to the Intensive Care Unit, University Hospital Galway c/o any family member.
