The death has taken place peacefully at his residence of Michael Shovlin, Gortnacart, Ardara and formerly Kilraine, Glenties.
His remains will be reposing at his residence this afternoon, Thursday December 20th from 2p.m to 10p.m and tomorrow, Friday December 21st from 11a.m to 10p.m.
Funeral from there on Saturday morning, December 22nd at 11.30a.m to The Church Of The Holy Family Ardara for 12 noon Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
Family flowers only please donations in lieu if desired to The Donegal Hospice c/o any family member.
There will be a one way system in operation to the wake house with entry only at Gornacart.
