The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Anton McGettigan, Cnoc na Mureleoge, Downings.
His remains will repose at his late residence from 3 o’clock on Saturday afternoon August 15th.
Funeral from there on Monday August 17th, going to the Church of St John the Baptist, Carrigart for requiem mass at 11 o’clock, which can be viewed live on the Meevagh Parish Facebook page.
Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Due to HSE and government guidelines, the wake funeral and burial are strictly for family and close friends only.
