50 people awaiting admission to LUH

 

Letterkenny University Hospital is the third most overcrowded in Ireland today.

There were 50 people awaiting admission there this morning with 13 on trolleys in its Emergency Department and a further 37 waiting on wards or in overflow areas.

Nationally there were 499 admitted patients waiting for beds this morning, according to today's INMO Trolley Watch.

416 patients are waiting in the emergency department, while 83 are in wards elsewhere in the hospital.
