An Garda Síochana say that Gardaí as well as members of the Coast Guard have been carrying out a search operation for a missing woman in the Cashelard area near Ballyshannon this afternoon.
Local reports suggest that the missing woman is in her mid thirties.
There is no further information being made available regarding the search at this time.
