Letterkenny University Hospital is the most overcrowded hospital in Ireland today.
Figures from the INMO show that there were 46 people awaiting admission there this morning – six of them on trolleys and a further 38 waiting on wards or on overflow areas.
Nationally, 359 admitted patients are waiting for beds at hospitals across the country this morning.
