A People Before Profit TD wants Irish workers to get the same number of public holidays as the rest of Europe.
Bríd Smith is calling for them to get 3 extra public holidays, to bring the total number up to 12.
She says even beyond the issues around covid and the extra mile they went to, they deserve the 3 additional days anyway.
