IMO say Budget must mark start of era of substantial funding in health service

The Irish Medical Organisation says next month’s budget must mark the start of an era of substantial and ongoing funding for the health service.

The President of the IMO, Dr. Ina Kelly says it must never again be as vulnerable in the face of a health emergency, as it has been through Covid-19.

The comments were made in advance of the IMO pre-Budget submission.
