Laura Feely starts as Ireland beat Italy in Women’s Rugby World Cup qualifier in Parma

Ireland beat Italy 15-points-to-7 in their must-win Women’s Rugby World Cup qualifier in Parma on Sunday afternoon.

Beibhinn Parsons and Amee-Leigh Murphy Crowe scored the tries for Adam Griggs’ side with Stacey Flood kicking the conversion as well as a penalty.

Ballybofey’s Laura Feely started the must-win game for Ireland.

As things stand Ireland still could top the round-robin group to qualify automatically for next year’s tournament.
