Plants destroyed at entrance of Donegal County Museum

Plants outside the entrance to Donegal County Museum have been destroyed in what’s been described as an act of wanton vandalism.

In a social media post, the museum hits out at those behind the destruction, saying the plants were especially chosen to attract bees and other flying insects.

It comes at a time when the importance of bees and pollination is being highlighted in a series of murals and outdoor art works in Letterkenny.
