It wasn’t to be for Donegal’s Mark English was he was unable to advance from the first round of the men’s 800 metres at the Tokyo Olympics.
English finished fourth in his heat in 1:46.75.
He was naturally disappointed with the outcome, and will now turn his attention to next year’s World Championships.
