Finucane calls for new DUP leader to respect power sharing arrangement

Sinn Fein MP John Finucane says the DUP must be willing to work with other parties in the North, no matter who its next leader is.

Nominations for the post of leader have opened and Jeffrey Donaldson is the current favourite to take the position.

It follows the resignation of Edwin Poots after just three weeks in the job over his deal on Irish language legislation.

Finucane says the DUP has to share power with the other parties in the executive in order to move forward:
