Live music could return to NI on June 21st

The North’s communities minister says she is hopeful live music can resume in Northern Ireland before the end of this month.

Deirdre Hargey told the BBC she is looking at an indicative date of 21 June, but that will need to be approved when the executive reviews Covid-19 restrictions next week.

Ms Hargey also said she hopes the 500-person cap on outdoor gatherings can be removed and replaced with risk assessments.
