A final decision on the introduction of the Digital Green Cert for travel across the EU’s expected today.
The European Parliament voted yesterday on whether to give it the green light, with the result due this morning.
The certificate would act as proof a passenger has been vaccinated, tested negative for Covid-19 or has recovered from the virus.
The regulation would enter force on July 1st, however government says it won’t be introduced here until July 19th.
