Donegal Labour Party member welcomes climate resilient funding

Donegal is to receive a share of a €17.3m package to help the country’s road network become more climate resilient.

€1.1m has been allocated for 26 projects across Donegal to protect roads and bridges against weather damage such as flooding.

Labour Party member Seamus Rodgers has welcomed the funding. He says tidal flooding is an issue for the Lower Rosses coastal road and its subject to coastal deposits on occasions:
