Minister McConalogue says he is working to improve fishing quota

The Agriculture Minister is working to improve Ireland’s fishing quota, after it was adjusted post-Brexit.

Over 60 fishing boats are currently making their way up the River Lee in Cork to deliver a letter to the Taoiseach’s constituency office.

Fishermen say the reduced quota imposed by the European Commission will cost thousands of jobs unless the Government takes action.
