9 rescued after boat got into difficulty off Dunaff Head

9 people have been rescued after their boat got into difficulty off Dunaff Head yesterday afternoon.

The Lough Swilly RNLI Lifeboat was tasked by the Coast Guard at 2.18pm yesterday afternoon to assist a small fishing vessel with 9 people on board after its propeller became tangled on pot lines.

The crew commenced a stern tow and brought the boat into Port Salon.
