Investigation launched into overnight shooting incident in Derry

 
Officers are appealing for information following an overnight shooting incident in the Meenan Drive area of Derry.
A man in his 20s was shot in the leg shortly after 10:30pm last night and he has since been taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries.
In a statement Inspector Hamilton said “Enquiries are continuing and at this stage, and police are treating this shooting incident as a paramilitary style assault.
