Letterkenny Roads policing Unit arrested a driver who was driving in excess of the 100KPH speed limit today outside Letterkenny.
The driver was travelling at 157KPH and then tested positive for the presence of cocaine.
Gardai say court proceedings will now follow.
They have reminded the public not to take unnecessary risks when it comes to road safety.
