Man charged following a drugs seizure in Derry

 

A man has been charged following a drugs seizure in Derry yesterday.
Waterside Neighbourhood Team seized approximately £14,000 of controlled drugs following a proactive search of a property in the Kilfennan area of the city.
Tactical Support Group officers also assisted in the operation and recovered suspected counterfeit goods.
The 24 year old has been charged with a number of offences including Possession of Class A controlled drugs with intent to supply and trading in counterfeit products and is expected to
appear at Derry Magistrates Court today.
A 20 year old woman also arrested has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
