Number of Donegal routes reportedly treacherous this morning

 

A number of routes across Donegal are reportedly treacherous this morning.
A yellow weather warning for snow and ice remains in place for the county until 12 noon today.
There are reports of icy stretches in Fintown, Carrigans and from Carndonagh to Moville.
Motorists are being advised that while all main routes have been treated this morning, assume no road is ice free due to plunging temperatures throughout the day.
There’s also a warning that roads on higher ground may pose a heightened risk of icy conditions.
