Cllr hits out over possible reintroduction of water charges

 

A West Donegal Councillor has hit out over the possible reintroduction of water charges.
Green Party Minister, Malcolm Noonan recently told the Sunday Independent the “possibility of introducing water charges should be explored” within the lifetime of the current Government.
The Dail voted in April 2017 to abolish water charges.
Councillor Micheal Cholm MacGiolla Easbuig, founder and member of campaign group ‘Can’t Pay, Won’t pay’ says they will be fighting the reintroduction of water charges if it comes to fruition:
