Ulster gives green light to resume Minor Championship


Following this week’s decision by the Irish Government which give permission for the Minor Championships to re-commence, and taking into account the restrictions in the six counties until Friday 11th December, the Ulster Council have released a fixture schedule for the remainder of the 2020 Electric Ireland Ulster GAA Minor Football Championship.
The Donegal Minors will play Tyrone in their Championship Quarterfinal on Sunday December 20th at 1 pm in Páirc Sheáin Mhic Cumhaill.
All last eight encounters will be played that day with Derry also taking on Armagh at Owenbeg.
The full list of fixtures released by the Ulster Council are:
Sun 20th December: Quarter Finals (All games at 1.00pm)
Doire V Ard Mhacha at Owenbeg
Dún na nGall V Tír Eoghain at Pairc MacCumhaill, Ballybofey
Aontroim V Muineachán at Corrigan Park, Belfast
Fear Manach V An Dún at Brewster Park, Enniskillen
*If both teams are in agreement to play their fixture earlier that weekend, this will be facilitated by Ulster CCC*
Sat 2nd / Sun 3rd January: Semi Finals
Dún na nGall / Tír Eoghain V Doire / Ard Mhacha at Venue TBC
Fear Manach / An Dún V Aontroim / Muineachán at Venue TBC
Sat 9th / Sun 10th January: Final:
Please note that the All Ireland MFC Semi Finals are likely to take place on weekend of Sat 16th / Sun 17th January and Final on weekend of Sat 23rd/Sun 24th January.
