Derry City’s season came to an end on Wednesday night as they Candystrips lost out on penalties to Sligo Rovers in the quarter final of the FAI Cup.
With a second outbreak of Covid within the squad, Derry’s end of campaign preparations had been disrupted with the team isolating.
Manager Declan Devine said it was always going to be difficult in Sligo but he was disappointed with the cup exit.
