Second vaccine trial has ‘potential to transform the Irish economy’

 
A second successful Covid-19 vaccine trial has the potential to transform the Irish economy and save thousands of jobs over Christmas, according to an ESRI research Professor.
It comes after US biotech company Moderna announced yesterday that its trial showed a success rate of 94.5 percent.
Speaking to the Irish Examiner, Professor Kieran McQuinn said that announcement could help Irish companies on the brink of collapse ahead of Christmas.
