Gerry Moane steps down as Tyrone Ladies Manager


Just like the Tyrone senior men the senior ladies will also starting the process of finding a new manager.
After five years in charge of the Tyrone, Gerry Moane has confirmed to County Chairperson Donna Mc Crory, the County Executive and the players that he standing down from the position with immediate affect.
Gerry confirmed his decision three days after coach Barry Grimes confirmed he was stepping down.
Speaking of his decision Gerry said “I have decided to step down as senior team manager today, From humble beginnings in January 2016 with just 16 players in the squad, we have went on a great journey for these five years, creating wonderful memories that we will never forget, culminating in winning the 2018 all Ireland title and getting Tyrone back to senior football, that was always our target”
The former manager thanked everyone who played a part and he wished his successor the very best of good wishes confirming this group of players have made wonderful progress and are not far away from further success.
