Consumers fearful of falling victim to online fraud

62 percent of consumers are fearful of being victims of online fraud.
A new study released by Bank of Ireland shows the majority of people plan to do a lot more shopping online this Christmas, while 43 percent feel more exposed to potential fraud since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The research on 1,000 people says just over half of people have got a text, call or email claiming to be from their bank.
