Review approved for rail tunnel between Scotland and North

 

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has approved a review into a potential rail tunnel between Scotland and Northern Ireland.
The Daily Telegraph says the Prime Minister’s given his blessing for Network Rail to explore what would be a multi billion-euro link between Stranraer and Larne.
A road bridge is also being considered, although most experts think both ideas have huge construction challenges.
