Derry City claim important win over Shelbourne

Derry City earned a vital 2-0 win over Shelbourne at the Ryan McBride Brandywell on Friday night.
Goals from Joseph Thompson and Walter Figueira helped boost Declan Devine’s side up to fifth in the table.
Shelbourne are now eight points ahead of second from bottom Finn Harps, although Ollie Horgan’s side have three games in hand on Shels.
