Woman charged for contravening Health Protection Regulations in NI

A 46 year old woman has been charged with offences that contravene Northern Ireland’s Health Protection Regulation laws on Coronavirus.
They cover requirements under regulations 3, 4, 6 or 7.
The PSNI have confirmed this is the first person in Northern Ireland to be charged with these specific offences, since they came into effect earlier this year.
Police say the charges relate to offences committed in Strabane.
The woman is due to appear before Derry Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
