Ulster postpone Ladies Club Championship


This weekend’s Ulster Ladies Club Championship games and the rest of the competition has been called of as an impact of the current Covid restrictions and ongoing concerns.
St Nauls and Glenfin where due to host their first games of the provincial tournament on Sunday but officials have now halted the competition.
They confirmed the move on Friday evening.
“Following a recent upsurge in COVID 19 cases province wide, Donegal moving into Level 3 and a number of positive COVID cases in LGFA clubs, after careful consideration Ulster Ladies Executive feel it is in the best interests of our members to postpone the Ulster Ladies Club Championship 2020.
Should there be a significant decrease in COVID cases and lighter restrictions in place then we will review this decision on 12th October.
This has not been an easy decision to make and we thank the clubs for your continued co-operation.”
