A 36 year old man has been arrested in Derry today under the Terrorism Act.
Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland Terrorism Investigation Unit conducted a planned search in the city in relation to ongoing investigations into violent dissident republican activity.
The man remains in police custody.
