Mark English appeal rejected

Mark English has been unsuccessful in his appeal to Athletics Ireland on his exclusion from the National Championships.
The Finn Valley athlete ran in Italy recently with a seasons best time and despite Italy being on the governments green list, athletes who  travelled overseas have to isolate 14 days prior to an event under AI protocol.
This ruled  Mark out of the Championships at the Morton Stadium denying him the chance to win an eighth outdoor title.
The appeal was rejected today.
