Concern over expensive legal battles for children with special needs

 

The Government has been accused of forcing parents of children with special or additional needs into expensive legal battles.
Donegal Deputy Pearse Doherty told the Tanaiste that it’s unacceptable that some parents have no other option but to go before the courts in order to obtain an assessment of needs for their child.
