Donegal Youth League format and fixtures confirmed


Six teams will compete in this years Donegal Youth League – Bonagee Utd, Drumkeen, Lagan Harps, Letterkenny Rovers, Milford Utd and Swilly Rovers are this years entrants and they will also compete for the traditional Colin Breslin and Gorey Curran Cups.
There will be one round of 5 games with the top four to then to play each other home and away to decide the winners of the Dick Duffy trophy as league champions while the first round of the cup competitions and semi finals will be played after the first series of games.
The league is due to start on Wednesday August 12th although clubs will have flexibility within that week to change games by agreement.
Opening day fixtures sees defending champions Letterkenny Rovers travel to face Swilly Rovers, Lagan Harps meet Milford Utd while Drumkeen make the trip to face Bonagee Utd.
