The transfer of Michael Lynch from Naomh Colmcille to Gaoth Dobhair has hit a major stumbling block.
Lynch, who is the number 2 county senior goalkeeper has been hit with a ban that Highland Radio Sport understands to be proposed for 12 weeks while the Gaoth Dobhair Chairman and the Secretary are also hit with proposed 12 week suspensions.
Lynch seen his transfer go through to the Maghergallon side last week but it seems the player nor the club waited the required days to complete that process.
Lynch played outfield for Gaoth Dobhair in the win over Cloughneely last Friday in the Regional League.
Gaoth Dobhair are expected to appeal all three proposed bans.
