Calls for LIS scheme to be properly funded or scrapped


The Chair of the Donegal Municipal District is calling on the Government to fund the Local Improvement Scheme properly or scrap it.
Last year, Donegal County Council received €600,000 under the LIS Scheme while its estimated over €12 million is needed to repair roads in the county.
Councillor Micheal Naughton says the Government needs to fund the scheme adequately rather than just throwing crumbs at Donegal:
