Naval service detains German fishing boat off Malin Head

 

The Naval service has detained a German fishing boat off Donegal for breaching fishing laws.
The LÉ William Butler Yeats apprehended the vessel 250 nautical miles north-west of Malin Head.
It was escorted to port and handed over to the Gardaí.
It’s the seventh vessel to be detained by the Irish Naval Service this year for breaching fishing regulations.
