Two men charged with attempted hijacking in Derry

 

 
Police in Derry have charged two men with attempted hijacking.
A 21 year old man was charged with a number of offences including criminal damage, assault on police and possession of a controlled drug.
An 18 year old male has been charged with attempted hijacking.
Both men are due to appear before Derry Magistrates’ Court this morning.
As is usual procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
