Gardai launch Bank Holiday road safety appeal

 

 
60 people have died on Irish roads so far this year, that’s an increase of 9 percent compared to last year.
18 pedestrians have been killed in 2020 – double the amount in 2019.
Gardai have launched their June Bank Holiday road safety appeal.
Chief Superintendent Paul Cleary says there’s been an increase in deaths despite a decrease in traffic due to restrictions:
