Driver arrested for drug driving on Lifford-Letterkenny Road

A motorists travelling from Co.Down to Bundoran was arrested last night for drug-driving.
Gardai at a Covid-19 checkpoint between Lifford and Letterkenny stopped a vehicle.
The driver, who was travelling for Down and intending to go to Bundoran, had taken a wrong turn.
The driver tested positive for opiates and cannabis.
Gardai say the driver was arrested for drug driving and was reminded about the essential travel restrictions in place.
