The North’s First and Deputy First Ministers have moved to address concerns over the way Covid-19 testing is carried out in Northern Ireland.
At present, deaths in care homes are not counted in the daily Covid-19 statistics, but Deputy First MInister Michelle O’Neill says testing will be ramped up, and weekly statistics will now be published outlining care home deaths. .
She says the results are likely to be sobering……
