Gardai alerted to a scam email from Bank of Ireland

 
Gardai in Donegal say they have been alerted to a scam that is doing the rounds.
The scam has been received by a number of people by email from Bank of Ireland.

The email requests the receiver to clink on a link within the email in order to confirm personal details.

 
Bank of Ireland have reminded customers that they would never contact you by email to confirm or to ask you to update banking details.
