Gardai in Donegal are warning business owners who may temporarily closed to be on high alert for opportunistic criminals.
Gardai are asking everyone to Ensure premises are well secured and that the alarms are used and monitored by monitoring centres.
Owners are also being urged to check their premises regularly and report any unusual activity immediately to Gardai.
