Cancellations and closures following Covid 19 restrictions


A number of events and closures have been announced in light of the measures announced today to stem the progress of Coronavirus.
Confirmations which were to have taken place in Termon tonight at 6pm have been cancelled.
All gaelic games activities are to be suspended from midnight tonight.
The GAA, Camogie Association, and the LGFA says the suspension affects all games, training and team gatherings at all ages and all grades.
That includes Donegal’s National League clash with Tyrone on Saturday.
The suspension will remain in place until March 29th.
Motorsport Ireland has also cancelled all events over the next two weeks.
An Grianan Theatre and the Regional Cultural Centre in Letterkenny have closed for the duration, with efforts being made to reschedule shows and performances.
Glenveagh National Park has advised visitors that all facilities and services including; Visitors Centre, Tearooms, Castle, planned events and buses will NOT operate from Friday 13th March to Sunday 29th March inclusive.
Numerous local events have been cancelled across the region, people are being urged to check before travelling, and if they are attending events, to take all prudent precautions and follow the advice of the HSE.
