The 2020 World Tug of War Championships is going ahead as planned despite a flooding incident at the venue.
The Aura Leisure Centre in Letterkenny was evacuated last night after what’s been described as a major roof leak.
Significant structural damage has been reported.
But Dan McCarthy of the Irish Tug of War Association has been reassured that the side of the venue where the championships are taking place has not been affected:
