Former HSE boss says more community support is needed


The country’s acute hospitals are expected to do too much and more supports are needed for community care.
That’s the view of the former head of the HSE.
Tony O’Brien’s comments come as 640 admitted patients were without beds in irish hospitals this morning, 17 of them in Letterkenny.
Mr O’Brien says there aren’t enough supports for those who could leave hospital……….
