Derry beat Stute to win Billy Kee Memorial game


Derry City won the Billy Kee Memorial Cup on Tuesday night at the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium.
The Candystrips defeated their neighbours Institute 3-2.
Walter Figueira had Derry 2-0  up at half time and a third was added by Ciaran Harkin.
A deflected shot and a Dean Curry goal were the scores for Stute.
Derry start their Premier Division campaign on Friday 14th February against Dundalk while Institute have a free game day this weekend due to the Irish Senior Cup.
