There were 29 people awaiting in-patient beds at Letterkenny University Hospital this morning according to the INMO.
Four were on trolleys in its Emergency Department while a further 25 were waiting on wards.
University Hospital Limerick was the most overcrowded with 70 people waiting there.
Nationally, there were 577 people waiting at hospitals across the country today.
